These rich, fudgy Oreo Brownies are loaded with chopped Oreo cookies for the perfect balance of deep chocolate flavor and cookies-and-cream crunch. Every bite is chewy, decadent, and ideal for parties or satisfying a chocolate craving.
Ingredients
4 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
10 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
1/2 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3 large eggs, room temperature
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
2 tablespoons cornstarch
3/4 teaspoon sea salt
28 Oreos, chopped and divided
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8 x 8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the butter, dark chocolate, granulated sugar, and brown sugar, stirring frequently until the chocolate is almost melted.
- Remove from the heat and continue stirring until the chocolate melts completely. Let the mixture cool for about 5 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and sea salt.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the cooled chocolate mixture and beat for about 3 minutes until smooth.
- Gently stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined without overmixing.
- Fold in three-quarters of the chopped Oreos.
- Spread the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle the remaining Oreos evenly over the top.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs attached.
- Cool in the pan for 5 to 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack and allow to cool completely before slicing.
Notes
