Description

A colorful and refreshing Holiday Punch made with cranberry juice, orange juice, sparkling apple cider, and lemon-lime soda. Fresh cranberries and orange slices give this easy crowd-sized drink a festive finish.

Ingredients

32 ounces cranberry juice or cran-apple juice, chilled

2 cups orange juice

2 liters lemon-lime soda, chilled

1 cup sparkling apple cider

Fresh or frozen cranberries

Orange slices

Ice, for serving

Additional cranberries, for serving

Additional orange slices, for serving

Instructions

  1. Pour the cranberry juice, orange juice, lemon-lime soda, and sparkling apple cider into a large punch bowl or pitcher.
  2. Stir gently until the ingredients are evenly combined, taking care not to lose too much carbonation.
  3. Add fresh or frozen cranberries and orange slices to the punch.
  4. Refrigerate until ready to serve if needed.
  5. Just before serving, add additional cranberries and orange slices for a festive presentation.
  6. Fill individual glasses with ice and pour the Holiday Punch over the ice. Garnish with cranberries and orange slices as desired.

Notes

Use cran-apple juice instead of cranberry juice for a slightly sweeter punch with extra apple flavor.

For additional citrus flavor, add thin lemon or lime slices.

Thin apple slices pair well with the cranberry juice and sparkling apple cider.

For the best carbonation, chill all ingredients beforehand and add the lemon-lime soda and sparkling apple cider shortly before serving.

Prepare ahead by combining the cranberry juice, orange juice, and fruit, then refrigerate. Add the sparkling ingredients just before serving.

Keep ice separate until serving to prevent the punch from becoming diluted.

Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator, although the carbonation will gradually decrease.

Frozen cranberries or fruit-filled ice cubes can help keep the punch cold while adding a festive appearance.
