Description

Frozen Yogurt-Dipped Blueberries are a healthy, refreshing snack made with creamy vanilla Greek yogurt, sweetened with honey, and coated over fresh blueberries. Perfect for a light and guilt-free treat, these frozen delights are packed with flavor and nutrients, offering a cool, satisfying snack for any time of the day.

Ingredients

1 pint fresh blueberries, washed and dried

1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt

2 tablespoons honey

Optional Substitutions:
For a vegan version, substitute Greek yogurt with a plant-based yogurt and use maple syrup or agave nectar instead of honey.

Instructions

  1. Mix the Yogurt and Honey:
In a mixing bowl, stir the honey into the Greek yogurt until smooth and well combined.
  2. Dip the Blueberries:
Add a small batch of blueberries (about 10-12 at a time) into the yogurt mixture. Gently stir to coat them evenly with the yogurt.
  3. Remove Excess Yogurt:
Use a toothpick or fork to lift out each coated blueberry. Let any extra yogurt drip off before placing the blueberry onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Freeze Until Solid:
Place the baking sheet in the freezer, uncovered, and freeze for at least 2 hours. The blueberries should be completely frozen, and the yogurt coating will firm up.
  5. Transfer to a Container:
Once frozen, remove the blueberries from the baking sheet. Transfer them to an airtight container and store in the freezer for up to two weeks.
  6. Serve and Enjoy:
For the best texture and flavor, let the blueberries sit at room temperature for 1 minute before eating.

Notes

If you prefer a different flavor, you can experiment with flavored yogurts like strawberry or blueberry yogurt for a fun twist.

For added texture, try sprinkling some granola or nuts on top of the yogurt-coated blueberries before freezing.
