Description

Easy Air Fryer Caramelized Pineapple is a quick, healthy dessert made with just a few simple ingredients. Pineapple slices are air fried to perfection, creating a golden, caramelized exterior while keeping the fruit juicy and sweet inside.


Ingredients

1 ripe pineapple

Optional: ground cinnamon, honey, or brown sugar for extra flavor


Instructions

  1. Prepare the pineapple: Cut off the crown and base, then slice off the skin and remove the brown ‘eyes.’ Slice the pineapple into rings or chunks.
  2. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Add flavor: Optionally sprinkle pineapple with ground cinnamon, drizzle with honey, or sprinkle with brown sugar.
  4. Air fry: Place the pineapple slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry for 6-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and caramelized.
  5. Serve: Allow the caramelized pineapple to cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve as-is or with ice cream, yogurt, pancakes, or oatmeal.
