Ingredients
4 cups oyster crackers
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, combine the Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and lemon zest if using.
- Place the oyster crackers in a large mixing bowl and drizzle with the melted butter. Toss until evenly coated.
- Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the crackers and toss again until all crackers are evenly coated.
- Spread the crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, stirring halfway through, until crisp and lightly toasted.
- Allow the crackers to cool completely on the baking sheet, then sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
