Description

Refreshing and chewy Green Tea, Lemon & Ginger Chews made with natural gelatin, zesty lemon, soothing green tea, and spicy ginger—perfect for a healthy, flavorful snack or digestive aid.


Ingredients

3/4 cup cold water

5 tbsp unflavored gelatin powder

1/2 cup strong brewed green tea (from 4 tea bags)

1/3 cup ginger juice

1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

Honey to taste (optional)


Instructions

  1. Pour cold water into a saucepan and sprinkle gelatin on top. Let it bloom for 5 minutes.
  2. Brew strong green tea using 4 tea bags and measure 1/2 cup.
  3. Add brewed tea, ginger juice, and lemon juice to the bloomed gelatin. Heat gently on low until the gelatin dissolves completely, but do not boil.
  4. Add honey to taste, if desired, and stir well.
  5. Pour the mixture into silicone molds or a greased dish.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm.
  7. Pop the chews out of molds or cut into squares if set in a dish.
  8. Store airtight in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Notes

Adjust honey for sweetness or omit for a sugar-free snack.

Use fresh ginger juice for optimal flavor and health benefits.

Add a pinch of cayenne pepper for a spicy kick.
