1 lb (450g) ground chicken (or turkey)
1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
½ cup shredded white cheddar cheese
¼ cup breadcrumbs (or almond flour for low-carb)
1 egg
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp onion powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
For Serving: 4 burger buns (brioche, whole wheat, or lettuce wraps)
Toppings: Avocado, tomato, red onion, mayo, or Dijon mustard
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until well combined.
- Divide mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a ¾-inch thick patty.
- Heat skillet over medium-high heat with a drizzle of olive oil. Cook patties for 5–6 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Notes
For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes or hot sauce to the mixture.
Try different cheeses like pepper jack, mozzarella, or Gruyère.
Grill the patties instead of pan-frying for a smoky flavor.
Add lemon zest and fresh herbs like parsley or dill for a fresh twist.
Incorporate Asian flavors with soy sauce, ginger, and sesame oil.
