Description

A healthy, guilt-free dessert made from frozen bananas that creates a creamy, ice cream-like texture. It’s a refreshing and naturally sweet treat perfect for a quick snack or dessert.

Ingredients

2 bananas, peeled and sliced

Instructions

  1. Place the sliced bananas in an airtight container and freeze them for about 1 ½ hours or until solid.
  2. Once the bananas are frozen, blend them in a high-powered blender until smooth and whipped, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. Serve immediately for a soft-serve texture, or return to the freezer to harden further if you prefer a firmer consistency.

Notes

Store any leftover whipped banana ice cream in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.

If you freeze it for later, let it thaw for a few minutes before serving to achieve a soft, scoopable consistency.
