Description
A warm and toasty panini filled with roasted turkey, creamy cheese, crisp apple slices, and sweet-spicy hot pepper jelly for a quick yet gourmet-style meal.
Ingredients
- ½ ciabatta loaf, or 4 slices of panini bread
- 2 ounces camembert or brie cheese
- 4 tablespoons hot pepper jelly (or cranberry jelly)
- Sliced roasted turkey
- ½ Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Olive oil, for brushing
Instructions
- Slice the ciabatta loaf in half lengthwise.
- Layer slices of cheese on the bottom half, followed by apple slices, roasted turkey, and hot pepper jelly. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Top with the other half of the bread.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet or panini press over medium-low heat and brush lightly with olive oil.
- Toast the sandwich until golden brown on both sides and the cheese has melted.
- Slice into 3–4 pieces and serve warm.
Notes
- Swap camembert with brie, cheddar, gouda, or fontina for different flavors.
- Arugula, baby spinach, or caramelized onions add freshness and texture.
- Cranberry sauce is a great seasonal substitute for hot pepper jelly.
- Best enjoyed fresh but can be refrigerated up to 1 day and reheated in the oven.
