Description

A warm and toasty panini filled with roasted turkey, creamy cheese, crisp apple slices, and sweet-spicy hot pepper jelly for a quick yet gourmet-style meal.


Ingredients

  • ½ ciabatta loaf, or 4 slices of panini bread
  • 2 ounces camembert or brie cheese
  • 4 tablespoons hot pepper jelly (or cranberry jelly)
  • Sliced roasted turkey
  • ½ Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil, for brushing

Instructions

  1. Slice the ciabatta loaf in half lengthwise.
  2. Layer slices of cheese on the bottom half, followed by apple slices, roasted turkey, and hot pepper jelly. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. Top with the other half of the bread.
  4. Preheat a non-stick skillet or panini press over medium-low heat and brush lightly with olive oil.
  5. Toast the sandwich until golden brown on both sides and the cheese has melted.
  6. Slice into 3–4 pieces and serve warm.

Notes

  • Swap camembert with brie, cheddar, gouda, or fontina for different flavors.
  • Arugula, baby spinach, or caramelized onions add freshness and texture.
  • Cranberry sauce is a great seasonal substitute for hot pepper jelly.
  • Best enjoyed fresh but can be refrigerated up to 1 day and reheated in the oven.
