Ingredients
1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls

8 ounces shredded Mexican-style cheese blend
1 (14 ounce) bag tortilla chips, crushed (or to taste)
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
-
Unroll the crescent dough and lay it flat in the bottom of a 9-inch square baking pan. Bake for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
-
While the crust is baking, cook the ground beef and chopped onion in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes until browned and crumbly. Stir in taco seasoning according to package instructions.
-
Once the crust is done, spoon the beef mixture onto the prebaked crust.
-
Spread a layer of sour cream over the beef, followed by a generous sprinkle of shredded cheese.
-
Top with crushed tortilla chips for added crunch.
-
Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
-
Let the Taco Pie cool slightly before slicing. Serve with your favorite taco toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, or black olives.
