Description

Sweet Chili Meatballs are an easy slow cooker appetizer coated in a sweet and spicy sauce with pineapple for a fruity twist. Perfect for parties, game days, or quick meals, these crockpot meatballs require just four ingredients and minimal effort

Ingredients

  • 48 oz frozen homestyle meatballs
  • 12 oz sweet red chili sauce (Thai Kitchen recommended)
  • 20 oz grape jelly
  • 20 oz can of pineapple tidbits, drained

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Slow Cooker:
    • Place the frozen meatballs in your crockpot.
  2. Add the Sauce:
    • Pour in the sweet chili sauce and grape jelly.
  3. Add Pineapple:
    • Stir in the drained pineapple tidbits.
  4. Cook:
    • Cover and cook on high for 1-2 hours or low for 3-4 hours, stirring occasionally.
  5. Serve:
    • Stir well before serving and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Spicier Version: Add red pepper flakes or sriracha for extra heat.
  • Different Meatballs: Use turkey or plant-based meatballs for a lighter option.
  • Sauce Alternative: Swap grape jelly for apricot preserves or orange marmalade for a twist.
