Description

Strawberry Goat Cheese Bruschetta is a delightful appetizer that blends the sweetness of fresh strawberries, the creamy tang of goat cheese, and the crunch of toasted baguette, all topped with a drizzle of balsamic glaze. Perfect for entertaining, brunch, or a light snack, this easy-to-make dish is full of fresh, vibrant flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 4 oz goat cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
  • Toast in the oven for 8–10 minutes or until golden brown.
  • While the bread is toasting, slice strawberries and chop fresh basil.
  • Spread a layer of goat cheese onto each toasted baguette slice.
  • Top with sliced strawberries and a sprinkle of fresh basil.
  • Drizzle with balsamic glaze and season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Make Ahead: Toast the baguette slices and prep the toppings in advance but assemble just before serving for the best texture.
  • Balsamic Glaze Alternative: Make a homemade balsamic reduction by simmering balsamic vinegar over low heat until thickened.
  • Customization: Add honey for extra sweetness, chopped nuts for crunch, or red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
