Description
Spaghetti Stuffed Garlic Bread combines the best of both worlds: warm, garlicky Italian bread filled with seasoned spaghetti, marinara sauce, and melted cheeses. A cozy and flavorful twist on two classic favorites.
Ingredients
1 loaf Italian bread (fresh, crusty)
8 oz cooked spaghetti (al dente)
1 cup marinara sauce
1/2 cup garlic butter (butter mixed with minced garlic and herbs)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp fresh basil or parsley (finely chopped)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
-
Cook spaghetti until al dente, then toss with marinara, half the mozzarella, salt, and pepper.
-
Slice bread lengthwise and hollow out the interior, creating a bread shell.
-
Mix softened butter, garlic, and herbs. Spread generously inside both bread halves.
-
Fill the bread with the spaghetti mixture. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
-
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15–20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and bread is golden.
- Garnish with herbs and serve hot.
Notes
Add red pepper flakes or hot sauce to the spaghetti mixture for extra spice.
For a vegetarian version, use sautéed spinach, bell peppers, and mushrooms.
Experiment with different cheese blends like ricotta or provolone for a creamier filling.
For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free bread and pasta.
