Description

Southern Peach Bread is a moist, flavorful treat packed with the sweet, juicy flavor of peaches. Made with simple ingredients like sour cream and vegetable oil, it’s perfect for breakfast, dessert, or a snack.


Ingredients

1 cup peaches, peeled and diced

½ cup vegetable oil

½ cup sugar

2 eggs

½ cup sour cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 ½ cups flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray 3 mini loaf pans or 1 large loaf pan with nonstick spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the diced peaches, vegetable oil, sugar, eggs, sour cream, and vanilla extract. Stir until the ingredients are well combined.
  3. Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
  4. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans.
  5. Place the pans in the preheated oven and bake:
    • For mini loaves, bake for 25-30 minutes.
    • For a large loaf, bake for 50-55 minutes.
    Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center of the bread—if it comes out clean, the bread is ready.
  6. Remove the bread from the oven and allow it to cool slightly before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
