Ingredients
1 pound fresh salmon fillet, skin removed
¼ cup pure maple syrup
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, mix the maple syrup, smoked paprika, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper until well combined.
- Marinate the salmon pieces in the maple glaze for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated salmon and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.

Notes
For added spice, you can add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the glaze.
If using frozen salmon, be sure to thaw it completely before marinating and cooking.
