Description

A fun and festive Shamrock Oreo McFlurry copycat that’s creamy, minty, and loaded with crunchy Oreo pieces, made in minutes right at home.

Ingredients

12 Oreo cookies, divided

46 cups vanilla ice cream, slightly softened

1/2 cup whole milk

1/4 cup heavy cream

1/2 teaspoon mint extract

6 drops green food coloring (more for deeper color)

Instructions

  1. Place four serving glasses in the freezer for 10–15 minutes to chill.
  2. Coarsely chop 4 Oreo cookies and set aside for topping.
  3. Add the remaining Oreo cookies, vanilla ice cream, milk, heavy cream, mint extract, and green food coloring to a blender.
  4. Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust mint flavor or color if desired and blend again briefly.
  5. Pour into chilled glasses and top with chopped Oreos.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

Skip the food coloring if desired; it won’t affect the flavor.

Reduce milk slightly for a thicker consistency.

Mint chocolate chip ice cream can be used instead of vanilla.

Best enjoyed fresh right after blending.

Let frozen leftovers soften slightly before serving again.
