Description

Roast Beef Horseradish Roll-Ups are a flavorful and easy-to-make appetizer that combines the richness of roast beef with the tang of horseradish sauce, all wrapped in a soft tortilla.

Ingredients

8 oz. thinly sliced roast beef

1/2 cup prepared horseradish sauce

4 oz. cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup sour cream

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)

1/4 cup chopped fresh chives (or green onions)

Salt and pepper, to taste

8 large flour tortillas (or wraps)

Lettuce leaves (optional, for added crunch)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, horseradish sauce, sour cream, and Dijon mustard (if using). Stir until smooth and well-combined.
  2. Mix in the chopped chives, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the horseradish to your spice preference.
  3. Place one tortilla on a clean surface or cutting board.
  4. Spread a generous layer of the horseradish cream cheese mixture evenly over the entire tortilla.
  5. Layer slices of roast beef over the spread, ensuring the tortilla is well-covered. Optionally, add lettuce leaves for extra crunch.
  6. Starting from one edge, gently roll the tortilla tightly, ensuring the filling stays intact as you go.
  7. Once rolled, slice the roll into bite-sized pieces, about 1 to 2 inches thick.
  8. Continue the process for the remaining tortillas and filling mixture.
  9. For better flavor melding, refrigerate the roll-ups for 20-30 minutes.
  10. Transfer the roll-ups to a serving platter and enjoy!

Notes

For extra spice, add hot sauce, jalapeño slices, or chili flakes to the spread.

You can use turkey, chicken, or ham instead of roast beef for a different flavor.

For a vegetarian version, use a blend of creamy cheeses, cucumber slices, and fresh herbs instead of meat.

Use gluten-free tortillas or low-carb wraps for diet-friendly variations.

These roll-ups can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for a few hours or overnight.
