Description

Pizza Monkey Bread Pepperoni is a fun, pull-apart appetizer featuring bite-sized biscuit dough loaded with pepperoni, mozzarella, and parmesan cheeses, seasoned perfectly and baked golden. Served warm with marinara sauce, it’s ideal for parties and casual gatherings.

Ingredients

900 grams refrigerated canned biscuits, cut into quarters

170 grams pepperoni, sliced and halved

200 grams mozzarella cheese, shredded

50 grams parmesan cheese, grated

80 milliliters unsalted butter, melted

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

0.5 teaspoon garlic powder

0.25 teaspoon garlic salt

Red pepper flakes, to taste (optional)

Fresh parsley, finely chopped, for garnish

Marinara sauce, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Generously coat a bundt pan with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
  2. Quarter the biscuit dough and halve each pepperoni slice. Set aside cheeses and seasonings.
  3. In a large bowl, combine biscuit pieces, pepperoni, mozzarella, parmesan, Italian seasoning, melted butter, garlic powder, and garlic salt. Add red pepper flakes if desired. Toss until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Transfer the mixture into the prepared bundt pan, distributing evenly.
  5. Bake for 35–40 minutes. Cover with foil during the last 10 minutes to prevent over-browning.
  6. Allow to cool briefly, about 5 minutes, then carefully invert the bundt pan onto a large serving plate to release the bread.
  7. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Homemade biscuit dough can be used for a fresher flavor.

If no bundt pan, use a deep round cake pan or springform pan.

Assemble ahead and refrigerate before baking for convenience.

Adjust red pepper flakes to increase or decrease spice.

Omit pepperoni for a vegetarian version and add vegetables like olives or roasted peppers.

Generously coat the pan to prevent sticking.

Fresh herbs like basil, oregano, or thyme can enhance flavor.

Serve warm with marinara sauce or other preferred dips.

Gluten-free biscuits can be used, though texture may differ.
