1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp water
1 drop red food coloring
Instructions
- Brew 1 shot of espresso or make ½ cup of strong coffee and set aside.
- In a tall glass, mix milk, red velvet syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and well-combined.
- If making the iced version, add ice cubes to the glass to chill the drink.
- Slowly pour the espresso over the back of a spoon into the pink milk mixture to create a layered effect.
- Top with whipped cream and drizzle with white chocolate syrup or sprinkle with pink sugar for garnish. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
For a non-dairy version, use almond milk, oat milk, or coconut milk as a substitute for dairy milk.
You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less red velvet syrup or use other sweeteners like maple syrup or agave nectar.
To make this drink caffeine-free, simply skip the espresso and use decaf coffee.
