Ingredients
1 box yellow cake mix
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 can (15 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
- Pour the dry cake mix evenly into the dish without stirring.
- Sprinkle chopped pecans over the cake mix.
- Drizzle melted butter evenly over the top, followed by sweetened condensed milk.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving, optionally with ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
Add cinnamon or nutmeg to the cake mix for extra flavor.
Swap half the pecans for walnuts for a different nutty taste.
