Description

This homemade Orange Julius recipe combines refreshing orange juice, creamy vanilla ice cream, and a hint of vanilla for a nostalgic, frothy treat. A quick and easy blend of ingredients, this drink is perfect for family gatherings, parties, or any time you crave a cool, delicious beverage.

Ingredients

1 (12-ounce) can of frozen orange juice concentrate

1 cup of granulated sugar

½ cup of whole milk

1 cup of vanilla ice cream

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

3 cups of ice cubes

Instructions

  • In a blender, combine the orange juice concentrate, sugar, milk, vanilla ice cream, and vanilla extract.

  • Add the ice cubes and blend until smooth and frothy.

  • Pour into glasses and serve immediately for the best texture.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute the ice cream with extra milk.

You can use 2% or skim milk for a less creamy drink.

To replace the frozen orange juice concentrate, freeze fresh orange juice in ice cube trays and use them as a substitute.
