Description

This Marinated Ranch Broiled Chicken is juicy, flavorful, and incredibly easy to make! Infused with tangy ranch seasoning and broiled to perfection, this dish is perfect for a quick weeknight meal. With minimal prep and a short cook time, this ranch-marinated chicken is sure to become a family favorite.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 3 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 packet (1 oz) dry ranch dressing mix
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Prepare the Marinade:
    • In a bowl, whisk together vegetable oil, white vinegar, dry ranch dressing mix, salt, and black pepper.
  • Marinate the Chicken:
    • Place chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish.
    • Pour marinade over the chicken, ensuring it’s fully coated.
    • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (overnight for deeper flavor).
  • Broil the Chicken:
    • Preheat broiler and line a baking sheet with foil.
    • Remove chicken from marinade and place on the baking sheet.
    • Broil for 5-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the outside is golden.
  • Serve:
    • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
    • Serve hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • Spicy Ranch: Add a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the marinade.
  • Garlic Ranch: Mix in 1 tsp minced garlic for extra depth.
  • Grilled Version: Instead of broiling, grill over medium heat for 5-6 minutes per side.
