Ingredients
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon horseradish (prepared)
1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Combine the Base: In a mixing bowl, add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, ketchup, and horseradish. Stir until well blended.
- Add Flavor: Mix in the lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Combine thoroughly until smooth.
- Season: Taste the sauce and adjust with salt and pepper as needed to enhance the flavors.
- Chill: Cover the bowl with cling film and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. This resting time allows the spices to meld beautifully.
- Garnish: If desired, sprinkle fresh parsley on top before serving for an added burst of color and freshness.
Notes
For extra heat, increase the cayenne pepper or add a dash of hot sauce.
Add herbs like tarragon, thyme, or chives for a more complex flavor.
For a vegan version, use vegan mayo and adjust the other ingredients accordingly.
