Description

Keto Philly Cheesesteak Roll Ups are a low-carb twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, featuring a savory beef and veggie filling wrapped in crispy cheese. They’re cheesy, satisfying, and keto-friendly, perfect for a quick meal or snack.

Ingredients

16 oz ground beef

1/2 medium onion, thinly sliced

1 bell pepper, thinly sliced (red bell pepper is recommended for color)

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

4 oz cream cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

2 cups Monterey Jack cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef, sliced onions, and bell peppers. Stir occasionally until the beef is browned and the vegetables are tender. Drain any excess grease, then stir in Worcestershire sauce, cream cheese, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until creamy.
  3. Spoon the shredded Monterey Jack cheese into 8 even circles on the prepared baking sheet, aiming for 3–4 inches in diameter per cheese circle. Bake for 8–10 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
  4. Let the cheese circles cool for just a minute, then spoon some of the beef and veggie filling onto each cheese circle. Gently roll them up, ensuring the cheese forms a sturdy wrap. Let them cool to firm up.
  5. Serve immediately with a dipping sauce of your choice, such as ranch or spicy mayo.

Notes

If you want to make these spicier, add red pepper flakes or diced jalapeños to the filling.

For a vegetarian version, swap ground beef for crumbled tempeh or mushrooms.

Use mozzarella or cheddar cheese if Monterey Jack is unavailable.

These roll-ups can be made ahead by preparing the filling and cheese wraps separately before assembling and baking them.
