Description

No-Bake Marie Biscuit Squares are a nostalgic treat made with crushed Marie biscuits, sweetened condensed milk, and coconut. This easy-to-make, no-bake dessert is perfect for last-minute cravings and ideal for sharing with friends and family. The crunchy texture of the biscuits, combined with the sweetness of condensed milk and coconut, creates a comforting treat.

Ingredients

1 packet Marie biscuits, crushed

1 tin (395g) sweetened condensed milk

½ cup desiccated coconut

2 tablespoons cocoa powder (optional)

½ cup chopped nuts or raisins (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Biscuits: Begin by crushing the Marie biscuits and placing them into a large bowl.
  2. Add Dry Ingredients: Add the desiccated coconut, cocoa powder (if using), and any optional mix-ins like chopped nuts or raisins to the crushed biscuits.
  3. Combine with Condensed Milk: Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the dry mixture and stir everything together until fully combined.
  4. Press into Pan: Line a pan with parchment paper and press the mixture into the pan, flattening it evenly.
  5. Chill and Set: Refrigerate the pan for at least 2 hours, allowing the mixture to set.
  6. Cut into Squares: Once chilled and firm, cut the mixture into squares or bars.

Notes

If you don’t have Marie biscuits, digestive biscuits or graham crackers can be used as substitutes.

To make it vegan, use a plant-based condensed milk alternative and dairy-free biscuits.

You can add chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, or melted chocolate on top for extra indulgence.

If the mixture sticks while pressing into the pan, wet your hands to make it easier to press.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze them for up to a month.
