- 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon ground allspice
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
- ¼ teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions
1. Prepare the Fruit Mixture:
- In a mixing bowl, combine chopped dried fruits, softened butter, salt, baking soda, and brown sugar.
- Pour the hot tea over the mixture and stir well.
- Let sit for 15 minutes to allow the fruits to plump up.

- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a standard loaf pan.
3. Combine Dry Ingredients:

4. Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients:
- Add vanilla extract and eggs to the fruit mixture and stir until combined.

- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
6. Cool & Serve:
