Description

Homemade No-Bake Twix Cheesecake combines the iconic flavors of Twix candy bars into a creamy, no-bake cheesecake. With a buttery shortbread crust, rich cheesecake filling, caramel layer, and chocolate topping, it’s the ultimate indulgence.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups shortbread cookie crumbs

1/4 cup granulated sugar (for crust)

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted (for crust)

16 oz cream cheese, softened (for filling)

1/2 cup granulated sugar (for filling)

1 tsp vanilla extract (for filling)

1 cup heavy cream (for filling)

1 cup caramel sauce (for caramel layer)

1/4 tsp sea salt (optional, for caramel layer)

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for topping)

1/2 cup heavy cream (for topping)

Crushed Twix bars for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine shortbread cookie crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture and spread over the chilled crust.
  3. Spread the caramel sauce evenly over the cheesecake filling. Optional: sprinkle with sea salt.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and heavy cream in 30-second intervals, stirring in between. Let cool slightly before pouring over the caramel layer.
  5. Optionally, garnish with crushed Twix bars. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours to set.
  6. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

This dessert can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to 5 days.

For a vegan version, substitute non-dairy cream cheese, coconut cream, and dairy-free caramel and chocolate.

If you prefer, you can use any cookie for the crust, such as graham crackers or Oreos.

For added texture, consider layering chopped Twix bars inside the cheesecake.

For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free shortbread cookies or graham crackers.
