Ingredients
- 500 grams thinly sliced beef (sirloin, flank, or ribeye)
- 400 grams rice noodles or egg noodles
- 4 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 large carrot, julienned
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (optional)
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
- Chili flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients: Slice beef, mince garlic, grate ginger, and chop vegetables. Set aside.
- Cook the Noodles: Boil water, cook noodles according to package instructions, drain, and rinse with cold water.
- Marinate the Beef: In a small bowl, mix hoisin sauce, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Add beef and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Stir-Fry the Vegetables: Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a large skillet. Add bell pepper and carrot, stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender but still crisp.
- Cook the Beef: Push vegetables to one side of the skillet, add marinated beef, and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until browned.
- Combine Everything: Add noodles to the skillet, toss with any remaining marinade, and stir in green onions. Cook for 2 more minutes.
- Finish: Drizzle with sesame oil, garnish with sesame seeds, cilantro, and chili flakes if desired.
