Description

Grilled Peaches with Spiced Whipped Cream is a simple and elegant summer dessert featuring smoky, tender peaches topped with creamy whipped cream infused with warm spices.


Ingredients

Peaches, halved and pitted

Neutral oil (avocado or olive oil) for brushing

Heavy cream

Sweetener (sugar, honey, or maple syrup)

Warm spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, or allspice) for whipped cream


Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Clean grates if recently used for meats.
  2. Brush the cut side of peach halves lightly with oil to prevent sticking and burning.
  3. Place peaches oil-side down on the grill. Do not move them once placed to get nice grill marks. Close the lid to allow smoke to build.
  4. Grill for 5-6 minutes until peaches are tender and smoky. For a lighter sear, grill 2-3 minutes. Avoid overcooking to prevent the fruit from falling apart.
  5. Meanwhile, whip heavy cream with sweetener and a pinch of warm spices until soft peaks form.
