Description

This Grilled Garlic Bread is smoky, crispy, buttery, and infused with fresh garlic and herbs. Perfect for pairing with grilled meats, pasta, or salads, it’s a quick and easy side dish that adds a deliciously bold flavor to any meal.

Ingredients

1 loaf French bread or Italian bread, sliced in half lengthwise

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Optional: grated Parmesan cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium heat (about 375°F/190°C).

  2. In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.

  3. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.

  4. Place bread, cut side down, directly on the grill grates.

  5. Grill for 2–4 minutes until toasted and grill marks appear. Watch closely.

  6. For extra crispiness, flip and grill the other side for 1–2 minutes.

  7. Remove from the grill, sprinkle with Parmesan (if using), slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Add red pepper flakes for a spicy version.

Mix in additional herbs like basil or thyme for a fresh twist.

Top with mozzarella or cheddar for a cheesy garlic bread.

Brush with olive oil for extra crispiness before applying the butter.

Roast garlic first for a sweeter, deeper garlic flavor.
