Ingredients
1 loaf French bread or Italian bread, sliced in half lengthwise
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Optional: grated Parmesan cheese for topping
Instructions

Preheat grill to medium heat (about 375°F/190°C).

In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.

Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.

Place bread, cut side down, directly on the grill grates.

Grill for 2–4 minutes until toasted and grill marks appear. Watch closely.
