Instructions
- Preheat & Prepare Pans – Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

- Mix Wet Ingredients – In another bowl, whisk together oil, buttermilk, eggs, food coloring, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Combine – Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Bake – Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans and smooth the tops. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool – Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
