Ingredients
For the Filling:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cubed cheese for gooey centers)
For the Bombs:
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until browned. Drain excess fat and stir in garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Let it cool slightly.
- Prepare the Dough: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle.
- Assemble the Bombs: Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each dough circle, then top with shredded cheddar cheese. Fold the dough over the filling to form a ball, pinching the edges tightly to seal.
- Bake the Bombs: Arrange the dough balls on the baking sheet, seam side down. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, and grated Parmesan, then brush the mixture over each bomb.
- Bake: Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is melted inside.
- Serve: Let the bombs cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
- You can add extra toppings like sautéed onions, pickles, or hot sauce for a more customized flavor.
- Use a variety of cheeses such as mozzarella or Swiss for a different taste.
- The bombs can be made ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
