Ingredients
1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup honey
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
Sesame seeds, for garnish
Chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Rinse and trim the Brussels sprouts, cutting them in half lengthwise.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
- Spread the Brussels sprouts out on a parchment-lined baking sheet and roast for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through. They should be golden brown and crispy when done.
- While the sprouts are roasting, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes (if using) in a small saucepan. Heat over medium-low heat for 5-7 minutes until the mixture thickens slightly.
- Once the Brussels sprouts are done, drizzle the honey garlic sauce over them and toss gently to coat evenly.
- Transfer the glazed Brussels sprouts to a serving platter and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Add Spice: Increase red pepper flakes or add sriracha for more heat.
