Ingredients
8 Coles Raw Garlic Prawn Skewers or Sweet Chilli Prawn Skewers
Lemon wedges, to serve
Lime wedges, to serve
Fresh basil leaves, to serve
Instructions
- Preheat a greased barbecue grill or chargrill over medium-high heat.
- Place prawn skewers on the grill and cook for 2–3 minutes on each side, until the prawns turn pink and slightly charred.
- Transfer cooked prawns to a serving platter.
- Top with fresh basil leaves and serve with lemon and lime wedges for squeezing over before eating.
Notes
Brush prawns with garlic butter or honey-lime glaze before grilling for extra flavor.
Add a sprinkle of chili flakes for a spicy kick.
Thread prawns with vegetables like cherry tomatoes or capsicum for variety.
Can also be cooked in a grill pan or baked at 200°C for 8–10 minutes.
