Ingredients
-
For the Crust:
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ¼ cup unsalted butter (melted)
-
For the Filling:
- 2 cans (14 ounces each) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 container (8 ounces) whipped cream
- 1 packet each of pink, yellow, blue, and grape Kool-Aid
Instructions
-
Prepare the Crust:
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a pie dish to form an even crust.
- Place the crust in the refrigerator to chill while you prepare the filling.
-
Prepare the Filling:
- In a large bowl, mix together the sweetened condensed milk and whipped cream until smooth.
- Divide the mixture evenly into four separate bowls.
- Add one packet of Kool-Aid to each bowl, stirring until the color and flavor are well incorporated.
-
Assemble the Pie:
- Carefully spoon the first layer of the Kool-Aid mixture into the chilled crust, spreading it evenly.
- Place the pie back in the freezer for about 30 minutes to allow the first layer to set.
- Repeat the layering process with the remaining colors, freezing for 30 minutes between each layer to prevent colors from bleeding into one another.
-
Serve:
- Once all layers are set, slice and serve chilled.
Notes
- Flavor Combinations: Experiment with different Kool-Aid flavors to create unique taste profiles.
- Crust Alternatives: Swap graham cracker crumbs for crushed Nilla wafers or Oreos for a different base flavor.
- Dye Adjustment: Use half a packet of Kool-Aid per layer if you prefer a less intense color.
