Description

Brighten up your Easter celebrations with this Easter Kool-Aid Pie! A fun and colorful dessert that combines the tangy flavors of Kool-Aid with a creamy filling in a sweet graham cracker crust. Its refreshing taste and vibrant layers make it a hit for both kids and adults, and it’s quick and easy to prepare with minimal ingredients. A perfect addition to any festive gathering!

Ingredients

  • For the Crust:

    • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
    • ¼ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • For the Filling:

    • 2 cans (14 ounces each) sweetened condensed milk
    • 1 container (8 ounces) whipped cream
    • 1 packet each of pink, yellow, blue, and grape Kool-Aid

Instructions

  • Prepare the Crust:

    • In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand.
    • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a pie dish to form an even crust.
    • Place the crust in the refrigerator to chill while you prepare the filling.
  • Prepare the Filling:

    • In a large bowl, mix together the sweetened condensed milk and whipped cream until smooth.
    • Divide the mixture evenly into four separate bowls.
    • Add one packet of Kool-Aid to each bowl, stirring until the color and flavor are well incorporated.
  • Assemble the Pie:

    • Carefully spoon the first layer of the Kool-Aid mixture into the chilled crust, spreading it evenly.
    • Place the pie back in the freezer for about 30 minutes to allow the first layer to set.
    • Repeat the layering process with the remaining colors, freezing for 30 minutes between each layer to prevent colors from bleeding into one another.
  • Serve:

    • Once all layers are set, slice and serve chilled.

Notes

  • Flavor Combinations: Experiment with different Kool-Aid flavors to create unique taste profiles.
  • Crust Alternatives: Swap graham cracker crumbs for crushed Nilla wafers or Oreos for a different base flavor.
  • Dye Adjustment: Use half a packet of Kool-Aid per layer if you prefer a less intense color.
