Description

Easter Egg Oreo Cookie Balls are a fun and festive no-bake treat, made with Golden Oreos, cream cheese, and a colorful candy coating. Perfect for Easter celebrations, these adorable egg-shaped bites are easy to make, customizable, and delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 (14.3 oz) package Golden Oreos (36 cookies), crushed into crumbs
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 10 oz white candy coating (or white chocolate melts)
  • 1 oz additional white candy coating per color for decorating
  • Gel icing colors

Instructions

  • Crush the Cookies:

    • Use a food processor to pulse the Golden Oreos into fine crumbs. Alternatively, place them in a sealed plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin.
  • Combine with Cream Cheese:

    • In a large bowl, mix the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese until smooth and fully combined.
  • Shape into Eggs:

    • Scoop about 1.5 tablespoons of the mixture and shape it into an egg. Repeat with remaining mixture.
  • Chill:

    • Place the shaped eggs on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Prepare the Coating:

    • Melt the white candy coating according to package instructions until smooth.
  • Dip the Eggs:

    • Use a fork or dipping tool to submerge each egg into the melted coating. Let excess drip off before placing back on the parchment-lined sheet.
  • Decorate:

    • Divide the extra melted candy coating into separate bowls, tint with gel icing colors, and drizzle or pipe over the eggs for a festive look.
  • Set:

    • Allow the eggs to sit at room temperature or refrigerate briefly until fully set.

Notes

  • Flavor Variations: Use different Oreo flavors like Mint or Lemon for a unique twist.
  • Chocolate Coating: Swap white candy coating for milk or dark chocolate.
  • Sprinkle Fun: Add festive sprinkles before the coating hardens for extra decoration.
  • Storage: Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
