Description

Dubai Chocolate Balls with Pistachio Kunefe Filling are a luxurious fusion of Middle Eastern flavors and rich chocolate. Crispy kunefe dough encases a creamy pistachio filling, all wrapped in smooth chocolate for a delightful contrast in textures. These indulgent, bite-sized treats are perfect for special occasions, parties, or gifting.

Ingredients

Kunefe dough

1 cup pistachios, finely ground

¼ cup sweetened condensed milk

2 tbsp butter

200g chocolate (milk, dark, or white)

1 tbsp honey

¼ tsp cardamom (optional)

Instructions

  1. Toast the Kunefe Dough:

    • In a pan over medium heat, toast the kunefe dough with butter until golden and crispy.

  2. Prepare the Filling:

    • Mix finely ground pistachios with sweetened condensed milk until it becomes thick and sticky.

  3. Shape the Balls:

    • Roll small portions of the pistachio mixture into bite-sized balls.

  4. Wrap in Kunefe:

    • Encase each pistachio ball in the toasted kunefe dough, pressing gently to secure the filling.

  5. Coat in Chocolate:

    • Dip each wrapped ball into melted chocolate, ensuring full coverage.

  6. Set and Serve:

    • Drizzle with honey, sprinkle with ground pistachios or cardamom, and refrigerate until the chocolate sets.

Notes

Different Nuts: You can substitute pistachios with almonds, hazelnuts, or walnuts for variation.

Vegan Version: Use dairy-free chocolate, plant-based butter, and coconut condensed milk for a vegan-friendly version.

Flavor Twist: Add a dash of cardamom to the filling or as a garnish for a spiced flavor.
