Description
Disneyland Peanut Butter Squares are a no-bake layered treat featuring creamy peanut butter, crunchy graham crackers, and rich chocolate, perfect for peanut butter lovers and easy to make.
Ingredients
6 whole graham cracker sheets + 2 sheets for crushing
1 cup creamy peanut butter
½ cup unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon salt
2 cups powdered sugar
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons shortening
Instructions
- Spray a 9×13-inch glass baking dish with non-stick spray.
- Place 2 whole graham cracker sheets in a Ziploc bag and crush into fine crumbs using a meat mallet or glass bottom. Set aside for garnish.
- In a large bowl, mix peanut butter, butter, vanilla, and salt until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and stir until well combined.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and shortening in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
- Lay 6 whole graham cracker sheets on bottom of prepared dish.
- Pour one-third of melted chocolate over crackers, spreading evenly.
- Flatten peanut butter mixture and spread over chocolate layer.
- Pour another third of chocolate over peanut butter.
- Add another layer of 6 whole graham crackers.
- Pour remaining chocolate over top and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle crushed graham crackers on top and refrigerate at least 1 hour until set.
- Slice into squares and serve.
Notes
Use natural peanut butter for a less sweet, authentic flavor.
Swap semi-sweet chocolate for dark or milk chocolate as preferred.
Add chopped nuts or sprinkle sea salt for extra texture.
Store leftovers in airtight container in refrigerator up to 1 week.
No reheating needed; serve chilled.
