Ingredients
For the Cheese Ball Mixture:
16 oz cream cheese, softened
4 tbsp sour cream
½ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp lemon juice
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 ½ cups chopped dill pickles
2 tbsp fresh chopped dill
For the Coating:
½ cup shredded or chopped cheddar cheese
1 tbsp fresh chopped dill
1 tsp lemon zest

Mix the Cheese Ball Base:

Using a hand mixer, beat the cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and pepper for 1–2 minutes until smooth and fluffy.

Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, chopped dill pickles, and fresh dill. Mix until well combined.

Form the Cheese Ball:

Lay two long strips of plastic wrap in an ‘X’ shape on a flat surface. Spoon the cheese mixture into the center.

Bring the edges of the plastic wrap together, closing the top to form a ball.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm up.

Coat the Cheese Ball:

Spread the shredded cheddar cheese, fresh dill, and lemon zest on a flat surface.

Unwrap the cheese ball and roll it in the mixture, pressing gently to coat the entire surface.
