Ingredients

1 cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version)

2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce

1 tbsp fresh lime juice

1 tsp honey or maple syrup

1 garlic clove, minced

Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients: In a blender or food processor, combine the mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt), chipotle peppers, lime juice, honey, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt.

  2. Blend: Blend until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

  3. Chill: Transfer to a jar or airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

  4. Serve: Use as a sauce for burritos, tacos, quesadillas, or bowls. Enjoy!

Notes

Make it milder: Use fewer chipotle peppers or replace them with mild chili peppers for a less spicy version.

Lighter option: Substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt for a tangier and lighter sauce.

Add cilantro: Blend in a handful of fresh cilantro for a fresh burst of flavor.

Add avocado: For a richer, creamier texture, add a ripe avocado to the mix.

Spicy kick: Add more hot sauce or cayenne pepper to make the sauce spicier.
