Description

Creamy baked blueberry cottage cheese bowls made with sweet honey, warm cinnamon, and a lightly golden oat topping for a comforting yet protein-packed dish.

Ingredients

2 cups cottage cheese

1 cup fresh blueberries

2 tablespoons honey

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 cup rolled oats

1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, honey, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until evenly blended.
  3. Gently fold in the fresh blueberries.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Sprinkle rolled oats over the top, followed by chopped nuts if using.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the top is lightly golden and the center is set.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Serve warm or chilled.

Notes

Frozen blueberries can be used without thawing, though they may add extra moisture.

Full-fat cottage cheese provides a creamier texture.

Adjust honey to taste for desired sweetness.

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
