Description
A warm, comforting cinnamon-sugar dessert pizza with a soft crust, buttery cinnamon topping, and sweet vanilla icing drizzle that feels nostalgic and easy to share.
Ingredients
1 pizza dough ball (store-bought or homemade, halal-certified)
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1–2 tablespoons milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Let the pizza dough rest at room temperature for about 10 minutes if using store-bought dough.
- Roll the dough into a 12-inch circle and place it on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Brush the melted butter evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the buttered dough.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, until the crust is golden and the topping is lightly caramelized.
- While the pizza cools slightly, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Drizzle the icing over the warm pizza, slice, and serve.
Notes
Add a pinch of nutmeg for extra warmth.
Skip the icing or dust with powdered sugar for a lighter finish.
Dairy-free butter and plant-based milk work well.
Best served warm for a soft, tender crust.
