Description

A simple, no-bake treat combining chocolate, peanut butter, and crunchy cornflakes. These cookies are a quick and easy dessert that satisfies both sweet and salty cravings.


Ingredients

1 cup chocolate chips

2 tablespoons peanut butter

3 cups cornflakes


Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with waxed paper to prepare for the cookies.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips and peanut butter. Cook and stir until both ingredients have melted together, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the cornflakes until they are fully coated with the chocolate mixture.
  4. Using a spoon, drop 12 spoonfuls of the cornflake mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and chill for about 30 minutes or until the cookies have cooled and hardened.

Notes

Store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.

These cookies can be frozen for up to 3 months. Place them in an airtight container with parchment paper between layers to prevent sticking.
