Ingredients

For the Ganache Frosting:
Semisweet chocolate, chopped
Whipping cream
Unsalted butter, cut into pieces
Instructions

Preheat Oven:
Preheat to 325°F (163°C). Grease and line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper. -
Melt Chocolate & Butter:
Place chopped chocolate in a bowl. Melt butter and pour it over the chocolate. Let sit 30 seconds, then stir until smooth. -
Mix Ingredients:
Whisk in sugar and cocoa powder. Add mascarpone, eggs, and vanilla; stir until smooth. -
Finish the Batter:
Fold in flour and salt until just combined. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top. -
Bake:
Bake for 50 minutes or until the center is just set. Cool completely before frosting. -
Prepare Ganache:
Heat cream in a saucepan until hot (not boiling). Remove from heat, add chocolate and butter, let sit for 1 minute, then stir until glossy and smooth. -
Frost Brownies:
Pour ganache over cooled brownies, spreading evenly. Let set before slicing.
