Description

Chocolate Dump Cake is an easy, rich, and moist chocolate dessert with a fudgy texture, made with simple ingredients and minimal effort, perfect for chocolate lovers.

Ingredients

1 box chocolate cake mix

1 box chocolate pudding mix

4 large eggs

1 cup milk

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup hot water

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, chocolate pudding mix, eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
  4. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips for extra chocolatey goodness.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly.
  7. Carefully pour the hot water over the top of the batter without stirring.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is set and the edges begin to pull away from the sides of the dish.
  9. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Add chopped walnuts or pecans for crunch.

Use dark chocolate chips for richer flavor.

Try a peanut butter swirl by adding spoonfuls on top before baking.

Add a teaspoon of espresso powder to intensify chocolate flavor.

Store leftovers covered at room temperature for 2 days or refrigerated for 5 days.

Freeze tightly wrapped for up to 3 months; thaw overnight in fridge.

Reheat in microwave or oven before serving.
