Description

These Chicken Caesar Wraps are a fresh, flavorful twist on the classic Caesar Salad, combining juicy chicken, crisp lettuce, creamy dressing, and crunchy croutons in a soft tortilla for a portable, satisfying meal.


Ingredients

3 cups chopped romaine lettuce

1 ½ cups chopped cooked chicken (grilled, fried, or rotisserie)

⅓ cup Caesar dressing

⅓ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

½ cup homemade croutons

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

4 flour tortillas or wraps (10-inch)


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, chicken, Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, and croutons. Toss everything together using tongs until evenly mixed. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Taste and add more dressing if desired. Set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, warm the tortillas over medium heat for about 15 to 30 seconds per side, just until they are pliable. Alternatively, you can microwave them between paper towels for 15 to 30 seconds. Keep them warm by covering with a kitchen towel.
  3. Place the warmed tortillas on a clean surface. Divide the Caesar salad mixture evenly between the tortillas, placing it in the center. Fold in the opposite sides of each tortilla, then roll it up burrito-style. You can use a toothpick to help keep the wraps closed. Cut in half or serve whole.
  4. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Chicken Caesar Wraps!

Notes

For a lighter version, use a lighter Caesar dressing or a yogurt-based dressing.

If you prefer a vegetarian version, substitute chicken with grilled shrimp, turkey, tofu, or tempeh.

To make homemade croutons, cube bread, toss with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then bake at 375°F for 10-12 minutes until golden and crispy.
