Description

Cheesecake Stuffed Baked Apples are a dreamy dessert that combines the warmth of baked apples with a rich cheesecake filling, topped with buttery graham cracker crumbs for a satisfying crunch.

Ingredients

4 Apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp recommended)

8 oz Cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup Sugar (adjust to taste)

1 tsp Vanilla extract

1 tsp Cinnamon

1 tbsp Lemon juice

1/2 cup Graham cracker crumbs

2 tbsp Butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Wash the apples and carefully core them, leaving the bottom intact to create a well for the cheesecake filling.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth and creamy.
  4. Stuff each cored apple with the cheesecake mixture, pressing down gently to pack it in.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and a pinch of cinnamon. Mix well until the crumbs are coated in butter.
  6. Spoon the graham cracker mixture over the cheesecake-filled apples, pressing lightly to adhere.
  7. Place the stuffed apples in a baking dish and drizzle with lemon juice. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the cheesecake filling is set.
  8. Allow the apples to cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

You can use any apple variety that holds its shape when baked, such as Fuji or Braeburn.

If you want to add a topping, consider caramel sauce, whipped cream, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence.

For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free graham cracker crumbs.

You can freeze the stuffed apples before baking. Just store them in an airtight container and bake as directed after thawing.

If you prefer, use flavored cream cheese like cinnamon for an extra twist.
