Description
Cheesecake Deviled Strawberries are a fun and creative twist on traditional cheesecake! The sweet and creamy cheesecake filling is piped into fresh strawberries, topped with graham cracker crumbs, offering all the flavor of classic cheesecake in a lighter, more portable form.
Ingredients
18–24 large strawberries
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (softened)
1/3 cup sour cream
2/3 cup white granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (optional)
1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
Instructions
- Cut off the stems of the strawberries and slice them in half. Then, cut a small sliver off the back of each strawberry half to help them sit upright.
- Use a small melon baller to carefully hollow out the center of each strawberry half.
- In a medium mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form (about 5 minutes).
- In another bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice (if using) until smooth.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until everything is well combined.
- Transfer the cream cheese mixture into a piping bag and pipe it onto each strawberry half.
- Sprinkle the tops of the filled strawberries with graham cracker crumbs.
- Chill the filled strawberries in the fridge for about 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
For nutty topping, swap graham cracker crumbs with chopped nuts like almonds, pecans, or hazelnuts.
Add chocolate shavings or drizzle chocolate syrup for a chocolate twist.
For extra freshness, top with fresh berries like raspberries or blueberries.
