This Cheddar Bay Ground Beef Cobbler is the ultimate comfort food, featuring a creamy ground beef filling topped with a fluffy Cheddar Bay Biscuit crust. Ingredients

1.5 lbs lean ground beef

1 yellow onion, diced

1 tablespoon chopped garlic

10.5 oz condensed cheddar soup

10.5 oz condensed cream of mushroom soup

½ cup milk

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon pepper

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Topping:

1 box Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 cups milk

¼ cup butter, melted

Fresh chopped parsley


Instructions

  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and diced onions until the beef is browned.

  • Add garlic and cook for another minute, then stir in the cheddar soup, cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper. Mix well and heat through.

  • Remove from heat and stir in 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese.

  • Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray, and spread the ground beef mixture evenly in the dish.

  • Sprinkle more shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.

  • Prepare the Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix by combining it with 2 cups milk and 1 cup shredded cheese. Stir until smooth.

  • Spoon the biscuit mixture over the ground beef and spread evenly.

  • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuit topping is golden brown.

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
