Ingredients
- 8 ounces sliced mozzarella cheese log
- 7 cherry tomatoes
- Black olives
- Fresh basil leaves
- Black food-safe color gel (optional, for spots)
Instructions
- Prepare the Base: Arrange mozzarella slices on a serving platter.
- Add Basil Leaves: Place a fresh basil leaf on each cheese slice.
- Create the Ladybug Body: Halve cherry tomatoes, cutting a small slit into each half to form wings. Place on top of the basil leaves.
- Form the Head: Slice a black olive, cutting a small piece to create the ladybug’s head. Attach to the tomato.
- Add Spots: Dot black food-safe gel onto the tomato to mimic ladybug spots.
